This Patio is Powered by the Sun

With our day to day social lives uprooted since the start of the pandemic it was a pleasure to be able to have a small part in a project that helped reconnect people once again.  Lionheart Display had the privilege to help design, fabricate and install an entirely solar powered activation for Sol Cerveza on the RendezViews patio in downtown Toronto presented by The Fifth and The Ballroom.  Using bi facial solar
panels we were able to harness the suns energy to power the LED string lights for the entire patio – keeping the party going even when the sun goes down. 

Using a standard 20ft shipping container as our base, we cladded one side with 2” metal tubing and ACM panels to create a smooth, 160 square foot, billboard style front side.  To that we adhered our 3D cut SOL logo with embedded LED strip lighting.  We also added accent up and down lighting to the entire face.  All 4 sides of the shipping container were then wrapped using an exterior grade 3M vinyl to complete the billboard style display.
