Why
The Objective: Taste of the Danforth makes its highly anticipated return to Toronto. Heineken partnered on a full-scale experiential brand footprint designed to drive high-volume beverage sales, boost brand visibility, and offer a comfortable, high-energy retreat for attendees during heat-of-summer festivities.
Client Spotlight: Heineken Experiential Activation
To maximize footprint visibility along Danforth Avenue, we built a cohesive, high-impact branding suite that integrated seamlessly into the streetscape plaza.
1. Statement Centerpiece Installation
At the center of the activation space, a custom giant 3D Heineken bottle installation was mounted directly inside the plaza fountain, creating an unmissable photo opportunity and focal point for foot traffic entering the zone.
2. The Heineken Beer Garden & Seating Area
We enclosed a dedicated seating patio with custom-printed Heineken perimeter barricade graphics, branded green patio umbrellas, and white dining sets, giving festival-goers a clean, shade-covered venue to enjoy cold beverages and local eats.
3. Custom Rotunda Photo Backdrop & High-Tops
Utilizing the architectural columns of Alexander the Great Parkette, full-height geometric Heineken banner walls were installed alongside standing cocktail tables, establishing an inviting cocktail lounge zone.
4. Turnkey Branded Mobile Bar Station
To keep service fast and efficient, heavy-duty mobile service kiosks equipped with illuminated star branding, custom canopy overhangs, and integrated point-of-sale stations were strategically positioned for high-volume pouring.
Key Takeaway: By pairing high-visibility structural branding (like the fountain centerpiece) with functional crowd space (the shaded beer garden and mobile bars), Heineken established an anchor destination at Taste of the Danforth 2026.
