Why

  • The Objective: Strongbow wanted a distinct, high-traffic outdoor execution for Rose Disco at historic Fort York. The build needed to bridge the brand's crisp apple aesthetic with an organic, premium design that maximized service speed while providing a visually compelling footprint on the festival lawn.

Client Spotlight: Strongbow Experiential Activation

To deliver a high-impact presence fit for the historic venue, we engineered a custom timber structure tailored for outdoor high-volume pouring.

1. Custom Wood-Frame Canopy Structure

We built a heavy-duty, timber-post canopy designed to withstand high outdoor foot traffic while providing shade for staff and consumers. The roof section was lined with suspended artificial ivy foliage to reinforce Strongbow's natural orchard branding.

2. Custom 3D Can & Apple Back Wall

The focal backdrop featured a vibrant lime-yellow display wall anchored by a dimensional 3D Strongbow cider can graphic and surrounding apple cutouts, creating instant visual identification from across the festival grounds.

3. Integrated Planter Box Framing & Service Counter

The footprint was grounded by a smooth wood-grain service counter with custom dark steel trim and an illuminated-style front logo. To seamlessly blend the structure into the Fort York park environment, custom timber planter beds filled with floral arrangements flanked both sides of the activation.

Key Takeaway: By combining natural timber materials with bold 3D branding elements, Strongbow established a functional, high-capacity sampling destination that stood out across the Fort York grounds.
